Continuing to support individual customers to access low-cost loans during the difficult period to boost the economic growth, from 1 July 2020, BIDV further cuts 0.5% p.a. on its lending rates.

Since the beginning of this year, BIDV has cut its lending rates three times by 2.5% to 3.0% p.a., compared to the pre-Covid-19 period.

Previously, in responding to the policies of the Government and the State Bank of Vietnam in supporting customers affected by Covid-19 pandemic, BIDV was one of the first banks to launch credit packages totaling VND93,000 billion. To date, total disbursements of these packages have reached VND70,000 billion for 5,400 customers, at lending rates reduced by 2.0% p.a. compared to the pre-Covid-19 period.
